The legacy Poshan Tracker system, while effective at scale, needed upgrades to support operations nationwide. Impact

The Poshan Tracker application made it easier to monitor nutrition services across 13.9 lakh Anganwadi centers. By digitizing records, Anganwadi workers could capture and update data for over 10.12 crore beneficiaries directly through a mobile app.

As a result, paperwork was reduced, and data collection became faster and more accurate.

Moreover, real-time dashboards gave supervisors and officials a clear view of nutrition delivery, child growth data, and beneficiary coverage. This improved transparency and helped teams quickly identify gaps in services.

As a result, decision-makers could use reliable data to strengthen nutrition programs and improve support for pregnant women, mothers, and young children.
