The legacy Poshan Tracker system, while effective at scale, needed upgrades to support operations nationwide. However, users often faced performance slowdowns, connectivity issues in remote areas, and limited offline capabilities. Additionally, data entry flexibility, regional language support, and Aadhaar-based e-KYC workflows required improvement.

To address these challenges, DIC partnered with Unthinkable to migrate and modernize the Poshan Tracker. The goal was to build a scalable, stable, and reliable platform that could streamline data collection, monitoring, and reporting across thousands of Anganwadi Centres.
