About the Client

Autoload is a leading player in India’s logistics ecosystem, transforming traditional transportation through an on-demand digital platform that seamlessly connects manufacturers with transporters. Often referred to as the “Uber of the logistics industry” in India, the platform enables real-time freight matching at scale, with over a million transporters and thousands of manufacturers actively registered and operating on it.
Business Situation
The Indian transportation industry is highly fragmented, with operations largely driven by small fleet owners and independent truck operators. Transportation requires load matching, and communication is mostly manual, making it hard to respond quickly to changing demand. The absence of a unified system also limits visibility into vehicle availability and shipment status, adding further operational complexity and creating gaps across the logistics value chain.
Autoload is envisioned to bridge this huge gap in the Indian logistics industry by developing a mobile-first digital platform that could bring all stakeholders onto a single system. The requirement was to enable real-time interaction, clear sharing of transportation needs, discovery of nearby opportunities, and better visibility across logistics operations, while accounting for the scale and complexity of the logistics environment.
On the development front, the requirements included:
Conceptualizing, designing, and developing a mobile-first platform accessible to both manufacturers and transporters.
Architecting a robust and scalable backend capable of handling a high volume of users and transactions.
Creating an intuitive, user-friendly interface with seamless navigation and a minimal learning curve.
Enabling instant interaction between manufacturers and transporters through live updates and notifications.
Incorporating workflow management tools to streamline consignment requests, bids, and confirmations.
Providing ongoing support, maintenance, and future enhancements to ensure platform reliability and adaptability.
Integrating a real-time GPS tracking system to improve fleet visibility and optimize truck utilization.
Solution
Unthinkable developed a robust mobile application with two distinct user logins, one for manufacturers and another for transporters. The platform provides a scalable, secure, and intuitive environment for discovering, booking, and managing consignments. GPS tracking was integrated to ensure safe deliveries and real-time visibility of vehicles, while backend algorithms optimized pricing and route suggestions for fair and efficient transport.
Manufacturer App
The manufacturer module enables users to discover verified truck drivers in their vicinity and book them instantly. The app provides transparency in pricing, payments, and operational tracking while offering nationwide access to hundreds of verified trucks with complete details. GPS-enabled tracking ensures safe and timely delivery of consignments, allowing manufacturers to make informed decisions and maintain operational efficiency.

Transporter App
The transporter module helps users receive automatic load suggestions based on truck location, increasing the likelihood of return loads and reducing empty trips. A backend pricing engine ensures fair ride pricing, while smart route suggestions optimize deliveries. Transporters can also manage multiple rides in real time through a single, intuitive mobile interface, improving overall fleet utilization and operational effectiveness.

Platform Architecture & Development
Team Unthinkable leveraged deep domain expertise and mobile development best practices to architect a scalable, high-performance solution. The platform was designed to handle high volumes of users and transactions across India, while providing a secure, seamless, and user-friendly experience. By integrating GPS tracking, real-time updates, and intelligent routing, Unthinkable delivered a solution that enhanced collaboration between manufacturers and transporters and optimized the overall logistics workflow.

The Impact
Since its launch, Autoload has rapidly scaled its operations to establish a strong nationwide presence in India’s logistics sector. Within just one year, the platform has successfully onboarded over 200,000 truck owners and more than 1,000 large and mid-sized transporters, creating a vast and reliable network for manufacturers to access on-demand transportation services.
This rapid adoption highlights the platform’s ability to address real-world challenges in freight management, including route optimization, load matching, and cost efficiency. By providing manufacturers and transporters with a transparent, GPS-enabled, and user-friendly mobile solution, Autoload has transformed fragmented logistics operations into a seamless, scalable, and highly efficient ecosystem.
